Rainy Day Cakes is a small home-based bundt cake bakery located in Van Buren Township MI, operating proudly under the Michigan Cottage Food Law. I started Rainy Day Cakes during the stillness of 2020 - a time when the world paused and invited us all to rest, reset, and rediscover what truly matters. For me, that meant returning to something I've loved since childhood: baking. I learned to bake bundt cakes as a little girl, standing on a stool beside my mother on quiet Saturday afternoons. Together we'd whip up cakes for family and friends - simple, nostalgic, joy-filled treats made from scratch. Those moments became the heart of who I am and what Rainy Day Cakes stand for.
